IMPONENTE TEMPLO DE SAN BARTOLOMÉ DE TINTA FUE RESTAURADO POR CULTURA CUSCO
Luego de tres años de intenso trabajo, la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Cusco concluyó los trabajos de restauración y puesta en valor del imponente templo colonial de San Bartolomé y la capilla de la Virgen de las Nieves, ubicados en el distrito de Tinta provincia de Canchis, obra que fue entregada a la feligresía en una imponente ceremonia realizada el martes 30 de enero.
El histórico templo fue construido entre los años 1572 y 1590 con adobe y piedra, de estilo renacentista, en forma de cruz latina, con nave central alargada y capillas laterales. Cuenta con una torre campanario de piedra travertino y sus muros están cubiertos por hermosas obras de arte de estilo barroco. La capilla de la Virgen de las Nieves es una construcción posterior aledaña al templo, que forma parte del conjunto arquitectónico.
El Residente de Obra, Arqto. Bernardo Noa Inca, informó que el templo de San Bartolomé de Tinta fue declarado Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación en 1972 y presentaba un grave deterioro. Los trabajos de restauración se iniciaron en octubre del año 2014 y concluyeron en diciembre del 2017 con una inversión de 5 millones 232 mil soles, presupuesto proveniente de los recursos propios que capta la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Cusco.
Al hacer entrega de la obra, el titular de la entidad cultural, Dr. Vidal Pino Zambrano, invocó a las autoridades y a la población a que realicen una labor permanente de cuidado, mantenimiento y vigilancia del templo para evitar su deterioro y proteger su valioso patrimonio artístico.
Se restauraron 62 pinturas de la época colonial, 24 marcos de madera dorados en pan de oro, 43 esculturas policromadas, 4 mobiliarios religiosos, 8 retablos, un primoroso púlpito de madera, 313 metros cuadrados de pintura mural, un órgano de la época colonial y varios otros objetos de uso religioso.
El Obispo de la Prelatura de Sicuani Mons. Pedro Alberto Bustamante, brindó emotivas palabras al agradecer por la obra recibida y resaltó el exquisito trabajo de restauración que realizaron los especialistas de la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Cusco. “Que Dios los bendiga por este maravilloso trabajo realizado” subrayó el Obispo.
El Alcalde Distrital de Tinta, Abog. Bernabé Ccasa, también agradeció por la obra de restauración y destacó la participación de los profesionales y técnicos de la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Cusco.
